What can we use instead of gelatin since we keep kosher and if we use beef gelatin, it becomes meat???

I linked to grass fed beef gelatin.

The brand she linked to is kosher. It will make it a “meat” dish, but that could be nice to have “ice cream” right after dinner. Since you’re using coconut milk, there’s no dairy. If you want to keep it completely parve, just use 3 egg yolks instead of the gelatin. If you use eggs from a trusted source, I wouldn’t worry about using them raw. I do it all the time, but that’s a personal decision.

This looks perfect for a hot summer day! I love the healthy coconut fat to balance out the berries. I’ve pinned this on more than one board! 🙂

I have the green can of the unflavored Great Lakes gelatin…do you think that will work?

With that said, over those three years I gained a very intense love for tofu. I honestly haven’t cooked it myself yet but I bought a package the other day hoping to make some tofu scramble. Of course, I accidentally bought the silken tofu. After debating on what kind of recipe to make with it, I found an amazingly delicious raspberry mousse recipe online that I tweaked in order to transform it into a frozen sorbet.

Tofu has major hormone disruptors and it will ruin your health. Please read my about me page and don’t risk it!! You have too much to lose!!
