Two New Stitch Fix Reviews

March 11, 2016 By Caitlin Weeks

Happy Saturday! How are you doing today? It is getting to be spring here and I am ready for some warmer weather. I have been enjoying having some new clothes that make me feel great.

I wanted to show you my latest shipments from Stitchfix. I just love this service so much! I feel like they really listen to my needs each time I check out and send better options each time. They even seem to send items that match past clothes I have already received so that is very helpful. Plus my readers have been very helpful and responsive on my Instagram about what they like.

I love that they know my color palette and don’t shades that I would not wear. They also listened when I said I prefer knits because I hate ironing. It is great to not have to deal with the crazy unflattering fluorescent lights in the dressing rooms or that horrible phenomenon which happens at the mall where everything you already own instantly looks like trash. I love how my stylist seems to know me and only pics things that accentuate my best features.

Two New Stitch Fix Reviews

Box 1:

A. I got this black top previously but it went well with this new skirt they sent. I loved the black and blue detail and it had a built in liner so that was great because it won’t be see through. It was stretchy so it moved with me no matter what I did, plus it didn’t have a zipper so it was easy to put on. It was so comfortable I could even clean the house in it. Plus it matches everything because it is a mix between black and navy.

B. I loved this green top with the grommets (is that what they are called?). It was just my color and it washes so well and just hang to dry. They also sent these great stretchy jeans that I didn’t have yet in this lighter color. They fit great and I loved the stonewashed detail.

C. They also sent this great blue knit top that was stretchy and had some aztec type detail on the top. It also had some cute lacey detail on the shoulders. I wore it with the black pants they sent a few weeks ago that had built in spanx! How can anything go wrong? I also had my diffuser necklace on that was filled with thieves for immune support (order here).

I actually kept everything from this box. What do you like the best? Leave your comments below.

Box 2

The next box they sent a few weeks later and it was also full of good stuff.

A2. I liked this top a lot because it was green and blue. It is also a good top for the crossover time of spring and summer. It went well with these great dark Mavi jeans they sent that were very comfortable. Try it here

B2. My stylist sent this sweater but I wasn’t wild about it. It was kind of itchy and they collar was not flattering for me. It reminded me of the Flying Nun. Ever since I was a kid I could not stand itchy clothes. Also it isn’t cold enough here in Nashville so I just don’t think I would wear it.

C2. I was crazy for this top which was knit with a kind of suede detail and back fabric. They also sent black pants in that were pretty tight and they didn’t have any zipper so they were sort of sliding down. They were supposed to be slimming and they were but I just need a zipper or they just feel like workout pants or like I have to hike them up all the time. It was probably just my figure they probably would be great on a different body shape.

As usual it can be cheaper to keep everything but I just didn’t want to keep something I didn’t think I would wear so sent back the sweater and the black pants. So far I am loving the comfy jeans and two tops.

Hello Caitlin, First I want to say how much I LOVE your Mediterranean Cook Book. I use it often. I live and work in Germany and conduct Gluten, Dairy and Soy free cooking classes. I received 2 donated books from Diane Sanfilippo to give away at my monthly cooking events. This weekend we cooked Indian Food and Keith Custer won the book in a drawing. I noticed you have several books and would be honored to give 1 or 2 away at my next class in May. Please check my site and let me know if you would be willing to do this! Thanks again for all your hard work!
