My Latest Stitch Fix Personal Shopper Service Review
I love the service called Stitch fix. I use it all the time. See a post I wrote about how it helped my body confidence here. You might be thinking what does this have to do with a healthy lifestyle. Well at first I thought that too but when this service helped my self-esteem I became a big fan. Also being healthy is about having fun and to me Stitch Fix makes shopping fun and hassle free.
In my life I have had ups and downs with my weight from when was 240 pounds in college to when I was fit personal trainer and even when when I gained 10 pounds in one week right before I found out I had Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Stitch Fix makes shopping comfortable and fun even when I wasn’t cozy in my own skin. After I got sick I didn’t want to buy new clothes for myself because I didn’t feel like I deserved it because I felt guilty for putting back on the pounds. After a while I came to realize that it was okay to chill out about the weight while I worked on healing my autoimmune issues because healing and eventually weight loss only happens when your health has stabilized.
Opening that box and having clothes that fit and flattered made all the difference in my confidence when I went on a work trip last year. There is nothing like new clothes that fit right to make all your troubles slip away. The best part is the stylist gets to know you and makes special selections that go with your style and body type. You can even make special requests such as a dress for a party or vacation. Many times I have requested jeans or black pants for work or going out. They always seems to know how to fit me to a tee and each time I give feedback in the automated checkout it helps them to curate your box even more.
This time I got all tops and they all fit well but I didn’t necessarily need them all so I had some help from people on Instagram here, to decided which ones I would keep. I liked A and C the best. B was a maroon and black long, flowy sweater that kind of swallowed me up also it was not really my color. Then the blue sweater, D had an itchy collar and Nashville is not really that cold so I would probably never wear it. The great thing is if you do decide to keep them all then there is a big discount for purchasing the whole box. If you decide to return everything there is a $20 styling fee deducted from your card. Which is not so bad and I bet you will keep a few things.
What are you waiting for?
When I found stitch fix I was so happy because it meant I didn’t have to brave the mall and or waste time in line or parking. Try it now and avoid all the hassle of all the mall drama. All you have to do is put the postage paid envelope back in the blue mailbox. No trip to the post office! There is no commitment, you can get just one box one time or sign up monthly it is up to you!
