The Paleo Chocolate Lovers’ Cookbook Book Review –

The Paleo Chocolate Lovers' Cookbook Book Review

The Paleo Chocolate Lovers’ Cookbook Book Review and Giveaway

Paleo chocolate lovers rejoice!  You can finally eat chocolate without the guilt of deviating from your current lifestyle. In The Paleo Chocolate Lovers’ Cookbook Kelly Brozyna, The Spunky Coconut teaches you the ins and outs of paleo ingredients which gives you a solid foundation and will help you get amazing results with every recipe.

After you have the ingredients down, getting the right chocolate is key and Kelly’s husband Andrew outlines the science, history and ethics of cacao teaching us that not all chocolate is created equal.  They even give us a handy dandy guide to store bought chocolate.  You will no longer crave those chocolate donuts from your childhood which let’s face it…were fried in rancid oils, or mom’s chocolate cake aka: the gluten bomb.

What you get:

–          80 gluten-free treats for breakfast & desert

–          Invaluable guide to paleo ingredients & preparation

–          Science, History & Ethics Lesson in chocolate making.

(Get some fair trade organic chocolate here:)

–          200+ pages full of awesome photographs

–          Tips & tricks that’ll help you get amazing results

Throughout this cookbook Kelly shows the reader that a Paleo lifestyle is not one of restriction, you can indulge from time to time and by using the right ingredients and preparation methods you won’t even miss those rotten gluten-filled deserts that sent our bodies into a whirlwind of chaos and digestive distress.

Kelly includes beautiful details of these recipes and how they came to be, from a café’ of her childhood which inspired the Chocolate-Stuffed French Toast to a wonderful accident of baked doughnuts turned Chocolate Chip Meringue Cake.  You’ll feel as if Kelly V. Brozyna aka. the Spunky Coconut is sitting next to you showing you step by step how to create these amazing chocolate Paleo treats.

Who will love this book:

-chocolate lovers everywhere

– friends with grain-free and/or dairy-free diet restrictions

-paleo folk with feelings of deprivation

-anyone with a pulse

-parents that don’t want their kids bouncing off the walls

Reading about chocolate and looking through all delicious recipes got me craving a quick treat, this Almond Banana Cacao Smoothie straight from the book is amazingly delicious and quick to whip up.  This is only the beginning; my chocolate obsession will now be in full swing with The Paleo Chocolate Lovers Cookbook.
