Low Carb Keto Barbecue Sauce

I made this low carb barbecue sauce for topping some barbecue chicken which was a dish we had all the time growing up. It is so fun to recreate my childhood recipes that were full of sugary sauces or canned soups to be paleo and keto friendly. This sauce can be used on ribs or brisket while still keeping the sweetness without the carbs. Low Carb Keto Barbecue Sauce

This sweet and spicy Low Carb Keto Barbecue Sauce tastes so delicious and ready in just 5 minutes. Its tangy and smoky flavor really makes it stand out from the rest while being sugar free.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 oz tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon gluten free soy suace
  • 1/2 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon gluten free horseradish mustard or spicy mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/3 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3-4 drops stevia liquid to taste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon natural liquid smoke optional

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well, then use as a dipping sauce for meats. 

  2. You can also spread on meats before baking.

    Ketogenic diet really has a lot of benefits in the body when properly practiced.
    That is, if one is going to be succesful in through the whole process.
    Which is really hard, especially when the cravings attack..
    What is worse is when you fail, you’ll get a way lot of disadvantages.

    Thank you, Caitlin, that you shared with us. In fact, barbecue sauce is the weakness of so many people. But let’s not hide the fact that most dishes to which we want to add this sauce and are too high-calorie. If you watch your figure and do not want to overstrain your stomach, then this recipe is a real find. I also like to open warm seasons with picnics where you can eat meat with a barbecue, and who does not like it 🙂 Your recipe is really very simple and quickly prepared, exactly what I need before the beginning of this wonderful season. Thank you!
