Gluten Free Paleo Gravy

Looking for a perfect starch to thicken your gravy or make dough that is still gluten and grain free? Arrowroot is a Paleo root vegetable that dissolves easily and is unnoticeable.

Gluten Free Paleo Gravy

Gluten Free Paleo Gravy

Ingredients:

2 cups drippings from meat/broth from a chicken or roast

1 Tbsp Arrowroot powder

1/4 cup water

Directions:

 In a small bowl add 1 Tbsp of Arrowroot  to 1/4 tsp water and stir until completely dissolved.

Strain the broth/ meat drippings through a wire mesh to get out the lumps.

Pour the the drippings into a sauce pan.

Warm up broth to medium heat and add the arrowroot mixture.

Bring the broth with arrowroot mixture to a simmer until it thickens to the desired consistency.

Turn off heat and let sit for 5 minutes.

Serve with meats or veggies as desired.
