Top Hypothyroid and Hashimoto’s Tips with Shannon Garrett is the subject of my latest podcast. My guest today was a practicing nurse who is also a thyroid patient that was searching for help for many years. She found out she had thyroid disease as well as celiac after seeing many doctors. She is on a mission to help others get the resources they need to feel better and be empowered. You will love her story of pushing on through pain and disappointment towards healing. Shannon offers lots of practical tips for people walking the same path.

Armour and naturethyroid are pig thyroid and you are providing more thyroid antigens for your immune system to respond to. Watch your TG and TPO the best approach is compounded T4 and T3. Get off all gluten as it exacerbates hashi. Heal the gut. Also do food allergy testing to reduce other foods that add to the antigenic load. Use castor oil on the Thyroid to reduce inflammation in the gland. It is a multifactoral disease you need a multifaceted approach to treat the whole person.
