Keto CBD Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
I have been messing around with my ice cream maker recently and I got the idea to make keto chocolate chip ice cream with CBD oil. Cbd has no THC and that makes it legal as a supplement. This ice cream recipe is great sugar free and high fat way to relax after a long day. Many people report that they cbd helps them with workout recovery, anxiety and even chronic pain.
This keto CBD chocolate chip ice cream recipe is very easy to make and if you have an ice cream machine. I added sugar free chocolate chips and there is even a peppermint chip variation. If you like Keto ice cream this will be in your main rotation of desserts and if you get a chance check out the awesome CBD from Sant Cruz Medicinals.
I have been taking it for a while and it really helps me sleep and with my headaches. It is great to have in my natural medicine cabinet to support my wellness. I like the most potent one, the 5000 mg and I take 2 droppers full whenever I am feeling run down. I love my essential oils and I am always up to try more natural health supplements that won’t create issues later.

Keto CBD Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 cups heavy cream
- or canned coconut milk
- 1/2 cup Swerve confectioners blend
- or Lakanto
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract sugar and gluten free
-
4
ml
Santa Cruz Medicinals CDB Oil
- 1/2 cup sugar free chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Make sure the bowl of your ice cream maker is very frozen for at least 48 hours before making this recipe.
-
Prepare a large pot, such as a dutch oven, with hot water, about halfway full and place it over medium heat.
-
Test the bowl you will use to make sure the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl.
-
Bring the water to a rolling boil.
-
Using the glass or stainless steel bowl, add the eggs, cream, sweetener, vanilla and mix well with a whisk.
-
Put the bowl over the pot and stir continuously, using the whisk.
-
When it starts to thicken and look more like thin pudding, remove from the heat.
-
You can strain the mixture if desired but not mandatory.
-
Place the pudding mixture in the refrigerator and let it cool off for about an hour.
-
Pour into your ice cream machine, add the CBD drops, if using, and chocolate chips, then follow manufactures instructions for churning.
-
I use the Cuisinart model (order here) and I let it churn about 15-20 minutes until very thick, serve immediately and enjoy right away or transfer the ice cream to a glass container
and freeze until serving. -
Mint chip variation: make it mint chip by adding a few drops of peppermint essential oil (order here) or the peppermint CBD tincture from Santa Cruz Medicinals order here.
