3 Relaxing Epsom Salt Bath Blends

July 10, 2015 By Caitlin Weeks

The relaxing bath recipe that I love to use whenever I am needing to chill out after a long day. The refresh bath is awesome for when you need to feel your best and support your lymphatic system. The post workout bath is great to follow demanding exercise routine to be ready to go again.

I only suggest using the most pure essential oils from the only company who owns their own farms and has the seed to seal guarantee which means they ensure every step from the growing to the distillation until it reaches your family. Order here.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: N/A

Yield: 2 cups (Single Use)

Ingredients:

Relaxing Bath

2 cups Epsom salt

5 drops lavender essential oil

5 drops Peace and Calming essential oil

Refresh Bath

1 cup Epsom salt

1 cup bentonite clay, white French clay, or diatomaceous earth

10 drops lemon essential oil

Post Exercise Bath

2 cups Epsom salt

8 to 10 drops Panaway essential oil

Instructions

Before adding to the bath or an airtight container for storage, mix the dry ingredients (salt and/or clay) in medium sized bowl with the essential oils well. Adding the essential oils to the dry ingredients before adding to the water helps the oils distribute the mixture in the water. When using, sprinkle the bath salt mixture into the tub as it is filling with warm water. To gain the benefits of the Epsom Salt and essential oils it is best to soak for 15-20 minutes.
