More and more famous people, celebrities and professional athletes are heading the paleo way and have selected to stay vibrant and fit by practicing the Paleo lifestyle. It is not just a flash in the plan because they are realizing how diet affects their long term health.
Here I share with you celebrities that eat according to Paleo principles either to look and feel better, stay fit, in shape, for weight loss or other health issues.

1- Jessica Biel:
Jessica Biel, always praised for her bombshell body cuts carbs and processed foods from her diet and attributes her toned body to a paleo lifestyle. She claims that she does lots of cooking at home with fresh fish, meat and vegetables and use healthy fats.
Talking about the benefits of paleo diet for weight loss, she says that it just leans you down and slims you up and takes that little layer of fat, skin, water-weight right off your body.
2- Megan Fox:
Megan Fox used to be vegetarian but after receiving much criticism for being too skinny and not very curvy she started eating paleo. She only gained 23 pounds during pregnancy and quickly lost all of the baby weight on a dairy free, low carb Paleo diet without working out.
She stays away from alcohol, all refined carbs and dairy. Megan advises that cutting out sugar, all refined carbs and especially dairy is the key to looking good for women because dairy is too hard on your hormones.
3- Jack Osbourne:
Jack Osbourne attributes his 70 pounds weight loss to low carb, ketogenic style paleo diet. He revealed in the Dr. Oz show that he tries to stick with high fat keto-style paleo diet to help him fight against multiple sclerosis. He looks at the multiple sclerosis as inflammation so he cuts out inflammatory foods like grain, gluten and dairy which can be a major factor in weight gain as well.
4- Miley Cyrus:
Miley Cyrus adopts dairy and grain free paleo diet due to her gluten and lactose allergies. She says that “everyone should try no gluten for a week, not only because of weight but the change in your skin, physical and mental health is amazing. You won’t go back!”
5- Eva La Rue:
Eva La Rue is the most vocal advocate and follower of paleo diet. She thanks the paleo lifestyle for helping her slim down and look amazing on her wedding. She admits that though it is tough to manage, she tries and sticks to eating paleo even during busy schedules and episode shooting.
Rob wolf, author of “The Paleo Solution” quotes her on his blog. “I am a firm believer in The Paleo Solution. Since adopting a Paleo way of eating I look and feel better, and I know that I am setting a good example for my daughter.”
6- Matthew McConaughey:
McConaughey is a big fan of the paleo diet. He attributes his amazing levels of fitness and physique to his choice of living the paleo lifestyle. He says that it helps him keep his body fat levels low and promotes a lean physique.
7- Grant Hill:
Los Angeles Clippers NBA star Grant Hill is a strong proponent of the paleo diet. This seven-time NBA All-Star believes that the paleo diet has helped him stay in shape throughout his 19 year career and has also helped him compete with younger players even in his early forties.
“I know that sounds crazy because I’ve had a lot of injuries, but I feel now at 40 that I’m in better shape than when I was 32 or 33, and I know a lot of that has to do with eating” says Grant in a n interview with paleo lifestyle magazine.
Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are also reported to be follow an ancestral Lifestyle. Dr. Cate Shanahan was enlisted by the L.A. lakers to help with their nutrition program which included real foods like grass fed beef, butter, and raw milk.
8- Gwyneth Paltrow:
Not only Gwyneth Paltrow goes grain free but she also feeds her children with healthy paleo foods. She has recently released her second cookbook “It’s All Good” about elimination diet and recipes without grain, gluten and dairy and alcohol.
9- Tom Jones:
Tom Jones lost 35 pounds in 5 months following a paleo lifestyle and looks amazing at 73. He talks about eating like a caveman and avoiding carbs and processed foods.
“I’d recommend it to anybody. It tells you to get back to the way we used to eat when we were hunters and gatherers. Eat anything that’s natural, meat, fish, veg, which you must eat raw as much as possible” says Tom Jones in an interview with Telegraph.
10- Millie Mackintosh:
For British TV reality star Millie Mackintosh, a paleo diet is not about losing weight. In fact during the three months she stayed at the same weight while clearly building more muscle. She says, “I feel stronger, my posture is better and my jeans don’t give me a muffin top!”

omg why doesn’t it work for me? I’ve been Paleo for 2 years, have not lost a single pound and am so fatigued I’m now diagnosed with CFS. I do have hashi’s and am in menopause…but still….why doesn’t paleo work for me?!

You have to look a lot deeper. I am sure it is helping. Work on your stress levels and sleep. Try getting your adrenals tested and optimize your thyroid hormone levels. You are healing everyday with paleo and I know you would be worse of without. Think about healing from the inside out. Try the autoimmune protocol if you can for a month or so.
