Essential Oil Recipes: How to Make Perfume
Special equipment: 1 roller bottle
Ingredients:
5 drops lime essential oils
5 drops tangerine essential oils
5 drops Ococtea essential oils
1 to 2 tablespoons avocado oil or sweet almond oil
Directions:
Place the essential oils in the bottom of the roller bottle and top off with your choice of carrier oil such as avocado or sweet almond oil. Return the lid and shake slightly for the air bubble to disperse the essential oil. Keep in a cool spot to preserve the quality of the oils for longer (avoid hot car storage).
To Use:
Roll it on your skin in the morning before work or anytime you need to feel and smell your best. If you are going to be in direct sun for a long time best to roll it on under clothes as citrus oils can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
Other Great Scent Combination Ideas:
There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to essential oils and it is best to be creative and follow whatever scents combo comes to mind. Use the same carrier oil ratio in the same size roller bottle then add:
7 drops lavender essential oil and 7 drops lemon essential oil
10 drops grapefruit essential oil 5 drops frankincense essential oil
10 drops thieves essential oil and 5 drops Bergamont essential oil
5 drops Stress Away Blend and 5 drops Acceptance blend
7 drops frankincense essential oil and 7 drops orange essential oil
