I had some friends over and wanted to make apple cider and I had a bag of organic apples. I asked some other people and they said go get apple cider at the store but I knew there ad to be a better way. I didn’t want the one from the store because often there is sugar or preservatives added.

How to Make Homemade Cinnamon Apple Cider with Essential Oils: Recipe
Yield: 2 quarts
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
12 apples (try to use organic)
3 cinnamon sticks
5 drops Thieves Vitality
2 oranges, sliced
1/4 cup honey
Directions:
Fill a 6 quart stock pot with water. Quarter the apples and place them into the pot. Boil the apples covered on medium until they are soft. Use an immersion blender to purée the mixture until blended about 30 minutes. Pour the mixture through a wire mesh strainer. Pour the strained juice back into pot and add the cinnamon sticks, and orange slices. Simmer the juice for 15 more minutes. Dissolve the essential oil and honey into the cider and mix. Serve with a ladle into coffee cups and enjoy.
