  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the flax, eggs and sweetener in one bowl until smooth and let it sit until a gel forms, about 5 minutes.
  3. In another bowl mix the spices, almond flour, baking soda and sea salt.
  4. Combine the two mixtures and stir in the coconut oil until blended.
  5. Roll the cookies into 1 inch balls and place on the cookie sheet.
  6. Flatten them with your hands.
  7. Bake the cookies 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove the cookies from the pan and cool on a baking rack for 10 Minutes.
  9. Cover them in powdered sugar, if desired, and serve.

Recipe Notes

For Paleo version: 1/4 cup honey instead of stevia and use only 2 eggs
