Uses for Lemon Everyday Essential Oil and Giveaway

I have been wondering about uses for lemon everyday essential oil (and giveaway). I got into essential oils because a friend of mine suggested the oils could support my health. I have been looking for alternative options and oils can be a great compliment to my healthy routine.

I have decided the easiest way to get started with the oils is to learn about them one at a time. I diffuse the oil and pay attention to how they smell and how they make me feel physically, emotionally and spiritually. I also put it on my skin with a carrier oil.

Everyday Essential Oils: Lemon

Today’s featured everyday essential oil is Lemon. This everyday essential oil has a wonderful citrus scent that brings sun into your home. Lemon consists of 68 percent d-limonene that is very well known. Lemon is a key component in many popular essential oil-infused products. Lemon is used worldwide in cleaners and soaps for its refreshing scent.

Uses for Lemon Everyday Essential Oil and Giveaway

Combine 2–3 drops of lemon essential oil with water in a spray bottle to help cleanse surfaces
Place a drop of lemon essential oil with jojoba carrier oil on skin
Rub on feet
Diffuse 5-10 for a wonderful smell in your home
Place a few drop in washing machine water to reduce grease stains
Place on a cotton ball and place in shoes to freshen
Put on a wet washcloth and throw in dryer for a natural lemon smell in laundry
Add 10–15 drops of lemon essential oil to a gallon if water for cleaner floors
Place 10 drops in a glass bottle with water and shake for a room freshener
