Paleo Diet Citrus Fresh Smoothie ( Low Carb, Gluten Free, Dairy)
The ingredients in this smoothie are well known for promoting long lasting satiety to keep you going all day.
Coconut milk has medium chain triglycerides that are burned directly by the liver for fast fuel.
Gelatin has amino acids that supports feel good neurotransmitters to decrease emotional eating.
Citrus Fresh essential oil is a combination of citrus oils and peppermint that will be refreshing and make this smoothie taste fantastic.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: NA
Yield: 2 servings
Ingredients:
2 mandarin oranges
1 3/4 cups coconut milk
2 tablespoons collagen hydrolysate
2 tablespoons golden flax seeds or chia seeds
2 to 3 cups ice cubes
1 to 2 cups water
2 drops Citrus Fresh Vitality essential oil (I only recommended this brand)
Instructions:
Place all the ingredients in the blender and pulse until smooth. Transfer into glasses and enjoy.
Note: Avoid ingestion of oils with small children. Only use Young Living.
Pro Tip: To punch up the protein add some pastured eggs or some grass fed whey protein.
